Branched out from !1009 (merged) to refocus it.

Without the fix the Tof (mCBM) reconstruction fails with a segmentation due to a missmatch beween the T0 info from the event and the available date
Putting Dominik as reviewer as we did the changes creating the bug, but maybe @v.friese should have a look instead
